Mighty Tough Doc
1996 POA Gelding
We raised Doc from my appaloosa mare (Princess) when I retired her from the show ring. We knew Doc was going to succeed from the day he was born. He went to his first show when he was only a couple of months old w/his mom at his side. He won numerous awards at halter. He won every halter futurity he ever entered and proved he could also be tough to beat under saddle! We retired him from the show ring after his 3 yr. old year and he stayed at home to breed mares. He had done so much at such a young age there really wasn't anything else for him to prove. His foals followed in his footsteps winning just like he did. His most notable is standing in our barn (Mighty Tough Cookie). In 2003 we decided to move so I made the tough decision to geld Doc so that he could be a riding horse for my kids and also be used as a lesson horse.
